Music
Though my musical experience centres on guitar playing, I also sing in a choir. Together with Gijs Anders van Straalen I compose, produce and release music for cd's, films and commercials.

Research
I am interested in methods in experimental linguistics, event-related potentials associated with language comprehension, EEG, phonetics, multilingualism, clinical linguistics and the relation between music and language. I have worked at Leiden University and the University of Amsterdam.

Since March 2000 I am a self-employed builder. I specialise in exhibition design and building. Together with Koen de Vries I help talented artists to showcase their work here.
